You know what else is intellectual property? All the work the artists these programs sample without permission pour hours into, the only difference is that these IPs have major companies behind them that can actually get this software taken down
Gonna be fascinating to see this play out -- technically you can draw or write fan fiction of anything but can't make money off it. Is this a tool or does it somehow convey ownership and they're making money from these tools... etc etc.
