I have no idea how someone like Sam Altman could become so influential. His bluster around OpenAIs achievements is collapsing and the company doesn't have the resources to stay relevant.     See More e aren't longer decisive for a return of invest. The best intelligence is useless when you can't get the horsepower on the asphalt. Anthropic, Google, Amazon, Microsoft and some Chinese providers are having much better frameworks around the LLMs (e.g. Manus). This deficit will break the neck of OpenAI sooner or later - especially with their pricing scheme. And the massive brain drain which OpenAI experienced during the last 2 years is also not helpful. And when Sam Altman speaks about AGI it sounds like when Elon Musk is speaking (since 10 years) about autonomous driving.
