In any case, every company in every field generates hype specifically for itself, even the most famous ones, even OpenAI spins uncontrolled hype, why shouldn't the smaller ones do it to show off more? If they were discredited by the tests and that the hype in the hands of influencers were unfounded ok, but it seems that they are all giving excellent ratings.
Furthermore, I would give these judgments as first impressions, because it is difficult to think that a product of this complexity can already be judged 'completely'. The use cases can be countless. The same comparison towards other 'deep reasearch' could seem misleading, especially if the differences between them are not clearly overwhelming. Surely each will have its strong points and its best use cases that the other will not have and vice versa. Another thing about the complaints about the wrapper, I don't see anything special even if this small company has not 'reinvented the wheel from scratch' by also creating their basic model, but using something that already exists. OpenAI also uses networking engines to navigate the web, the genius in these cases is knowing how to best exploit existing products with workflows, algorithms, steps and metrics suitable for exploiting every case, event and actor. And here I would say that yes, it could be another 'Deepseek moment' because if you think about it it is not the classic information research reporter, but apparently it goes beyond being able to also exploit other tools to build, create, and perform actions (think about what crazy ideas could be done with this tool also using Claude's MCP and if every service on the web or app relied on this protocol). So yes, it is perhaps the first, semi-reliable released to the public (not yet completely) to be able to tell an agent to be able to do more different things, and not 'just' an in-depth search. Think in the future another AI superstructure that executes a user request and launches various deep searches from other companies and its evaluator agents judge the results of each service and concludes by giving something even better. Let's remember that this world goes so fast and it's crazy to think that there is not even time to think about how to use them, adapt them, and let alone exploit them adequately.
