Just skip the MCPs and give it an entire VM to work with; It has eyes(vision) and access to a mouse and keyboard.
After making/connecting so many MCP servers, I figured why not just give     See More sktop environment or shell to an agent and let it do what it wants, allowing it to use whatever it needs to accomplish various task. I'm running local LLMs at the moment as this would cost a fortune as there has been, and will continue to be a lot more testing/fine tuning.
Conceptually, it's basically using a 'computer'(VM) mcp server.

Having it in a VM(or any sort of container, really) helps me customize the envrioment more for the AI to work in compared to having it try and control my desktop that is always changing.
This also helps the environment align to some things in my system prompt, like on how to go about some things like checking and updating system packages(It's the only user of the OS, so I figured it would need to manage it as well), or tools to use, and even keeping the distro(Gentoo in this case) up to date with update packages, new kernels and whatnot.
Still hitting snags when it comes to doing very new things, but I see them only as challenges to find solutions for; And so far, everything has a solution.    See Less
