Several key points became clear from this curious conversation. Some     See More e said directly, while others were obvious implications.

So, here are 10 key points:

1. All global investment is going into AI; investors believe in AI and expect immediate profits.
2. Financial markets will not withstand an AI failure.
3. AI requires the continuation of globalization, explicit or implicit, or at least totalitarianism, which would eliminate or sharply restrict human rights in key countries.
4. AI demands the dismantling of all laws limiting the real-time collection of information about people. Because data is the key. Totalitarian regimes will better handle potential protests.
5. AI requires enormous energy capacity (only in the US, investments are, by very modest estimates, $600 billion; Larry Fink said it's much more). This means dismantling the green agenda and centralization, i.e., local communities should no longer have the power to stop required projects. 6. AI requires huge volumes of drinking-quality water (see implications in the point above). Totalitarian regimes will better handle potential protests.
7. They talk about how to eliminate huge budget deficits—this means that expenditures to compensate people for the introduction of AI ARE NOT EVEN BEING DISCUSSED.
8. The issue of introducing a universal basic income contradicts this logic and is not discussed. Again, it's easier for totalitarian countries to "deal with superfluous people."
9. Support for the "independence" of central banks from democratic governments, which will spend money "in the wrong place" (e.g., on supporting people, increasing deficits), is envisaged.
10. To accelerate AI's ROI, its implementation is to be stimulated by all means. This will be easier to do in totalitarian countries.
11. A sign of 1929—a financial collapse—loomed in the conversation. Apparently, the merger of humanity with AI is seen as the ONLY possible way to avoid such a crash. That is, they see the "salvation of democracy" in merging with AI, yet AI requires totalitarianism...    See Less
